BLOOMFIELD-Another shake and bake meth lab has been discovered in Stoddard County this week. This marks the second time in 10 days a lab of this type has been discovered within the county.

According to Stoddard County Sheriff Carl Hefner, the bust came as the result of a routine vehicle stop. Upon pulling the vehicle over, it was discovered that the occupants were in possession of marijuana along with illegal prescription drugs and precursors to the manufacture of methamphetamine.

Further investigation into the incident led deputies with the Sheriff's Department to an address in Bernie. On searching the residence, deputies located a shake and bake methamphetamine lab.

Three people were arrested in conjunction with the lab.

While these shake and bake meth labs are relatively new to the county, it makes them no less important, according to Hefner.

Hefner says that the labs are highly volatile and dangerous. He advises anyone who comes across a suspicious bottle or container to immediately call the Sheriff's Office and stay away from it.

there was suppose to have been a 3 year old in the vehicle when they were pulled over. this doesnt mention the child? whats up with that?

If there was a child, all 3 should be charged with RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT OF A CHILD....It appears they had meth ready to use or sell in the car and the ingredients to make more. I wonder if Ms. Story is the mom and what can happen to get her the he*l away from the MEN who are too lazy to go to work. The jobs may not be the best but if you get 3 people working at even $9 an hour they can pool money and rent a small home....Get a plan guys..before it's too late. I'm not talking about these 2 men..they are already cooked.

There are ways to get off of Meth..just as you can get off cocaine..or off of alcohol. Get help and be honest with yourself and you may just find a better way.

I don't think I have ever seen bonds that high for drugs...unless the quantities were HUGE.

The guy in the bottom pic doesn't look like he has ever done meth before? Also, '72 please refrain from using cuss words like he*l or you will have everyone on here calling the unfair police on you.

BTW: Can we please starting doing what Layne has preached about for years.....LIMIT the breeding of the poor and dumb. If that were inacted, this little rug rat wouldn't have had to be around this group of pond scum.

the child was not with them. She was at a family members house. Unless you know the truth to this entire story please keep your mouth shut. A family member.

Steve and Debbie, you should have made Jr. play that Dove Leon left him. He might not have turned into a tweeker if he had a guitar in his hands.

A few meals and some good sleep and these people might look like humans again......

Mouth shut and fingers a typin'.......

So, are these folks poor, dumb, or both? Either way, breeding limitations may have helped in this case.

Mouth open and fingers typing! I KNOW the truth, they had meth, pills and weed. And they got busted. Didn't lil' Stevie just get out of the service? Or is he "in hands to civilian authority"?

Sorry I can't type with my mouth closed.

Guess nobody loves ya Garrett. With any luck Grampa Newt and Leon will visit ya in jail and you'll be "scared straight". Even death will not stop the Clan Cantrell.

Addiction does not care if you are "dumb", intelligent, poor or rich. This disease could quite possibly attack your loved ones, would you view them as less than a human? For these three people they must pay the price and maybe get enough clean time to realize and get the help to recover. To their families; If you did all that you could do to steer them in the right direction and you feel as if you failed....know this, the disease took over their abilities to care for anyones advice or help, they lost all controll. The drugs took over,no ammount of trying could help.To fail is not to have tryed to help them at all.

Cancer is a disease, using Meth is a choice. I doubt that very few people are taking Meth against their will. It was there choice to take it the very first time, and it will be their choice to stop. Telling users they have a disease is a cop out.

Hello, I'm back. This is sooooooo typical of this region. But, thankfully, it is funny. Check out this Henson dude who is supposed to be 36 but looks at least 56. Wow...meth isn't that great after all.
