Loveda Braddy

Loveda Braddy, daughter of the late James Howard and Lura Chase Howard, was born on May 20, 1919 at Paragould, Arkansas died in the Lutheran Home at Cape Girardeau on June 16, 2009 at the age of 90.

She was affiliated with the Word of Faith Church in Bernie and the Assembly of God Church. She was a homemaker and a resident of Jackson, formerly of Bernie.

She was united in marriage to Willard Morris Braddy on June 21, 1959 at St. Louis. Mr. Braddy preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 1990.

She is survived by one son, Gary Lee Pressley of St. Louis; by one daughter, Victoria Goodin of Jackson; by 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Obbie Gale Pressley and by one step-son, Ray Braddy.

Visitation will be hed at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie from 9-10 a.m., Saturday, June 20, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dale Hartle officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
