Sheila Holsten, age 56, of Holcomb, Mo., passed away, Monday, June 15, at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

Sheila Marlene Holsten, daughter of the late Martin (Red) Samples and Lucille (Dye) Samples, was born July 23, 1952 in Holcomb.

Sheila was co/owner of Strawberry's Dining Room in Holcomb.

She married Jerry Holsten on May 9, 2000 in Piggott, Ark.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Holsten, of Holcomb; one daughter, Cindy Wamble and husband, Ryan, of Dexter, Mo.; a step-daughter, Tracy Holsten, of Dallas, Texas; two grandchildren, Leah Brock, of Kennett and Myca Sutton, of Dexter; five brothers, Morris Samples and wife, Mae, of Demopolis, Ala., Jack Samples and wife, Glenda, of Sallisaw, Okla., Jim Samples and wife, Kathy, of Holcomb, Gary Samples and wife, Judy ,of Kennett and Lannie "Squirrel" Samples and wife, Kathy of Holcomb; two sisters, Delores Moore and husband, Joe, of Booneville, Miss., and Susie Samples, of Holcomb; a sister-in-law, Shirley Samples, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and other relatives and many friends.

Sheila was preceded in death by a brother, Patrick Samples.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Wednesday, June 17, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett with services being held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 18 at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Carter officiating.

Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
