Two men await hearings in Stoddard County Jail this week, after a routine traffic stop revealed drug activity, according to the Sheriff's Dept. in Bloomfield.
Thirty-eight-year-old Shea McMunn of Dexter was driving on County Road 517 on Sunday when a Sheriff's deputy attempted to pull him over on a routine traffic stop. McMunn initially failed to yield for the deputy, but after a brief chase, did come to a stop.
During the traffic stop, what the Sheriff's office termed as "a small amount of methamphetamine" was located in the vehicle. Authorities stated that the vehicle did not serve as a mobile meth lab.

McMunn, along with a 22-year-old passenger, James Kyle Irwin from the Broseley area, were both subsequently charged with felony resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bond for McMunn was set at $35,000 cash only and for Irwin, $30,000 cash only.
Both individuals remain in custody at the Stoddard County Jail.

I hear mcmunn is one of the bigger meth cooks in the area, hopefully he will go and rot in prison.
Part of the sentence should be to be beat with a 30" piece of rubber hose for 10 minutes EVERY Friday at noon. These guys don't care who they hurt or who's kids they are selling to.....I want to punch them both in the side of their neck.
I really like you, Bearcat72!
I believe Shea was one of the men that was with Robert Peters before he was reported missing.
LOL......you got a good point Bearcat. I went to high school with Shea and he pretty much stayed in trouble. I hope he gets his act together soon.
I've seen photos of meth users looking like corpses. Does the fact that these guys look relatively healthy mean that they're selling and not using meth? How does that work?
Shea looks like he is grinding his teeth in the mug shot. He is all red and looks high in it. They say he was driving where is the DUI charge?
Shifty eyes, for sure!
McMunn looks ready to spit!
Good lick Stoddard County. I hope the charges stick!
