Angie Stuever, daughter of Jerry Dean Cooper and Mary Sue Ward Cooper of Sikeston, was born on Jan. 15, 1957, at Chinon, France and died in the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis on July 25, 2009, at the age of 52.

Angie was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dexter where she served as Administrative Assistant, was a member of the Daughters of St. Francis DeSales, a board member of the Stoddard County Childrens Home, a former parent volunteer at the Bernie Public Schools. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and her home hobbies.

She was united in marriage to Jim Stuever on May 30, 1980, at Dexter and to this union, three children were born. Jim survives of the home near Dexter.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Matthew Stuever and wife, Emily of Wichita, Kan.; two daughters, Amanda Brueggeman and husband Jay of Wentzville and Lauren Mayer and husband Jason of Dexter; her parents, Jerry and Sue Cooper of Sikeston; and one sister, Linda Miller and husband Don of Sikeston.

A Catholic prayer service will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2009 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter, with visitation to begin immediately following the prayer service.

Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2009, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dexter with Father David Dohogne officiating.

Interment will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery near Dexter.
