John Edward Massey, 68, of Campbell died Thursday, July 30, at his home.
Mr. Massey was born Aug. 25, 1940, in Kinder. He formerly lived in Puxico and had moved to Campbell five years ago. He was a timber worker.
Survivors include one daughter, Janet Martin of Dexter; four sons, John Massey of Dudley, Ricky Massey and Gary Massey, both of Poplar Bluff, and David Massey of Campbell; five brothers, Jim Massey of Calif., Ronnie Massey and Joe Massey, both of Bloomfield, Roger Massey of St. Louis and Richard Massey of Springfield; four sisters, Lila Bryant of Cape Girardeau, Mildred Looney of Fla., Pansy McGee and Velva Buchlor of Advance, 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009 at Pagan Cemetery with the Rev. Ray Pincher officiating. Morgan Sifford Funeral Home in Puxico was in charge of arrangements.
