Jacquline Hester Eaves

Jacquline Hester Eaves, daughter of the late Riley Hester and Wilma Robinson Hester was born on January 26, 1934 at Bloomfield, Missouri and died in Malden Nursing Center on August 23, 2009 at the age of 75.

Mrs. Eaves was a homemaker and a resident of Bernie.

She was united in marriage to J. C. Eaves on Aug. 25, 1953 at Bloomfield. Mr. Eaves preceded his wife in death on May 6, 2007. Survivors include three sons, Harold Eaves and wife, Debe, of Kennett, James Eaves and wife Wanda, of Jackson, and Johnny Eaves and wife, Vicky, of Bernie; one daughter, Barbara Kegley of Malden; three brothers, Rudolph Hester of St. Louis, Dalton Hester of Florida, Gary Hester of Poplar Bluff; by two sisters, Janice Rickman of Dexter, and Bonnie Lefer of St. Genevieve; seven grandchildren, Kindra Dawn Polito, Beau Ryan Kegley, April Lasater, Kristin Eaves, Matthew Eaves, Zachary Eaves and Courtney Workman; six great-grandchildren, Corbin Austin Hunt, Carliegh Polito, Landon Wayne Kegley, Lucas Ryan Kegley, Brooke Lasater and Austin Lasater.

Besides her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James Hester and Dale Hester; three sisters, Donna Faye Hester, Cozert Williamson and Betty Hester.

Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, from 5-8 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009 at 2 p.m.

Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
