I dont know, but I do know that I wish the best for the families devistated in this tragic accident and I hope they all find strength to carry on. It is a very sad time for both families, as well as all their friends.

Must be nice to know everything before the facts are known.

You're so correct, Dexterite1...too many unknowns here unless mommie was on the scene and saw it happen...otherwise it begs questions...was she wearing her seat belt? Were there side air bags? Were they turned on? In the end, it doesn't matter...my prayer is that she had accepted Jesus; and for the peace that goes beyond understanding for the families and friends of all those involved.

I would like to let you know that Mrs. Crosby did have her seat belt on and so did her children. She was not speeding and was trying to see around a parked very large wrecker. She was coming from a stop and just crossing over the hwy. Now that is settled, I really wish people would not post ignorant things when family members are grieving or gossip that you just want to start trouble with or upset someone. Topix is bad enough that you have to run your mouth on the newspaper also. Please have some respect.

Very sad! What is also sad is how people jump to cunclusions without knowing facts.

1. She was employed at Central Gardens. She worked nights. My wife works there part time on the days she's not working at the hospital. Residents and fellow employees are still in sorrow.

2. Her husband saw what happened as he was there unloading for Dollar General.

3. A large tow truck was blocking her view so that she could not see on coming traffic. She thought the coast was clear.

4. Her two grown children who were passengers are still suffering injury. Her husband is devastated.

5. There are some questions which remain unanswered:

Why was nothing more mentioned in the news about this accident?

Was the SUV that hit her going too fast? The speed limit is 45 thru there. I'm sure that should not even be brought up at this point.

6. The driver of the SUV must be also in a state of devastated shock and sorrow.

7. All parties involved need our prayers. Tonight is prayer meeting night for many churches. If you attend prayer meeting tonight, make a special request for prayer for each of the victims. All of us praying for them will make a huge effect!
