Wreck injures Advance woman

An Advance woman sustained moderate injuries in a wreck early Wednesday morning at the US 60 and Highway 25.

Kathy A. Pruett, 51, was reportedly westbound on Highway 60 around 5:30 am. Wednesday when she struck a parked Freightliner truck in the rear. The Freightliner, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, was parked on the shoulder of the highway but was extended partially onto the roadway.

Pruett was taken by ambulance to a Poplar Bluff medical facility.

There were no occupants in the truck at the time of the accident and the truck's driver was unknown at the time the report was filed by the Highway Patrol.

Pruett was wearing her safety device at the time of the accident, the report stated.
