Timothy Joe Anschultz, 32, is charged with the unclassified felony of statutory rape following events that are alleged to have taken place between December 2007 and July 2008.
According to a complaint filed by Donnie Bohnsack with the Advance Police Department, he recently received a call from a Cape Girardeau County Department of Family Services worker regarding a female student who had an apparent breakdown at school and reported flashbacks of being molested by Anschultz during a time when she resided in Advance.
Bohnsack and the DFS worker then met with the girl's parents.
The parents stated they were aware of the alleged molestation and shortly after becoming aware of the incident(s), moved away from Advance and broke ties with Anschultz. They stated that the reason they didn't report the incident was because they felt there was no proof.
During an interview with SEMO Network Against Sexual Violence (NASV), the victim stated she was molested by Anschultz on several different occasions.
She said Anschultz would give her alcohol to drink until she thought she was going to pass out. She also stated that she remembered "bits and pieces" of the alleged sexual encounters.
The victim said in the interview that she had seen naked photos of herself and others on Anschultz's cell phone.
In a recent interview with Anschultz by Bohnsack, he denied having ever touched the alleged victim and also denied ever giving her any alcohol.
Bohnsack stated in the report that Anschultz was "very nervous, his hands were shaking at times."
He stated that pornographic pictures were found on the suspect's phone, but no underage pictures. Bohnsack also said that a search of Anschultz's computer revealed no illegal activity.
Anschultz is currently being held in the Stoddard County Jail on a $500,000 cash-only bond. He will be arraigned before Judge Joe Z. Satterfield Thursday afternoon.

Not a "First Tuesday" type of case, the evidence is is based on recessive memory. He's a stright looking guy, be sure to teach your kids that monsters come in all shapes and sizes.
Whether he's innocent or guilty, his life is ruined, and he hasn't even had a trial.
If he's guilty, shoot 'm!
I pray for the alleged victim, her family, Mr. Anschultz and his family. If this is true, it's a tragedy that has changed lives forever.
I'm glad they finally caught him! He molested my daughter when he lived in San Diego and has a case on file here as well. He was married to my niece and I know first hand what kind of person he "really" is. So to all his defenders', I hope you're not too shocked when his "dirty laundry" is aired in court! My heart goes out to this poor girl and her family. Stay strong, for justice will prevail!
