Pitkin-Hare

Shawnda Renee Pitkin, daughter of Zane and Debbie Day of Kaysville, Utah, and Edgar Leon Hare, son of Wanda Marvel of Essex, were united in marriage at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, at Graceland in Memphis, Tenn.

Blayne Goodman and Luke Hare, sons of the couple, escorted the bride who wore a white dress with black flowers, red and marroon flowers. Linsey Hare and Bailey Hare, daughters of the bridegroom, and Wanda Marvel of Essex were the bridal attendants. They wore black and white dresses with white veils.

Luke Hare and Blayne Goodman, sons of the couple, were bridegroom's attendants who wore red shirts with black slacks.

A reception was held at Graceland.

The new couple will make their home on North Frontage Road in Dexter.
