Ethel Marie Bolner, 86, of Lake City, Ark., died at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark., on Monday, Oct. 26, 2009.
Ethel was born in Townley to George and Edith Palmer Burton. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Jonesboro.
Ethel was a sweet and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be remembered as a precious angel with a caring heart and was loved by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Homer Bolner of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie and Phillip Hann of Dexter, and Claire and Rick Sterling of New Concord, Ky.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ken and Conne Dement of Choctaw, Okla., and Keath Dement of Austin, Texas; a brother, Greg Lacass of Ocala, Fla.; 20 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.
Ethel was preceded in death by three children, Earl Landers, Darla Varvell, and Kevin Dement; two brothers, Harrison Burton and Sherman Burton; and a sister, Bessie Akers.
Visitation was held from 1 until service time, Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Jonesboro, Ark.
Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Jonesboro, Ark., with Bishopric Robin Payne officiating. Burial followed in the Monette Cemetery in Monette, Ark. Langford-Bookout Funeral Home of Jonesboro was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Philip S. Hann, Bradley S. Hann, Chad S. Hann, Blake E. Parks, Jacob L. Parks, Larry T. Robertson, Ashley D. Sterling, and David Redmon, Jr.
