Wright to run for final term in House

Wednesday, November 25, 2009
Rep. Billy Pat Wright (R-159) has announced his intention to run for a fourth and final term in Missouri's House of Representatives.

Wright, a Dexter resident, was first elected to the House in 2004 and currently serves in a number of capacities in the House of Representatives, including a position of vice-chairman of the Agriculture Policy Committee. He also serves on the Appropriations Committee in General Administration, the Joint Committee on Wetlands, the Special Committee on Veterans and the Special Committee on Utilities.

The state representative term in Missouri is limited to four two-year terms. If elected, the 2011-12 term will serve as his final stretch in the House.

"There is still work to do," Wright said in making his announcement this week, "and I am asking District 159 constituents to allow me to once again serve them in a final term as their representative so that I might be granted the opportunity to finalize several plans that remain in the works in the House."

The 2010 election will take place on Nov. 23, 2010. No other bids for the House seat for District 159 have been made public.ญญญญญ

Time to remove him. We need to remove every member in all seats. Lets show them we are their boss and they aren't to do what they want without asking us first....

We need to start looking for someone that will listen to us to take his place. Someone we can trust. Lets start looking and make a list to pick from.

He's doing a great job and will get my vote this time around as he always has! He is prolife, pro 2nd amendment, pro- school choice, pro business and jobs, and pro marriage between one man and one woman. The only folks who don't like him are liberals who are not pro any of the above! he does listen and is trustworthy! We don't need Democraps in office, because the Democrap Party is pro gay rights, pro environmentalist wacko, pro government, pro abortion, pro everything we Conservatives and Constitutionalists are against!

I'm Richard D. Swift, a member of the Constitution party of Missouri, and I approve my above message! Thank God my son and his wife are here and are NOT Obama supporters! LOL
