Six area churches will be participating in a Christmas Church Tour on Saturday, Dec. 19.
The event, sponsored by the Stoddard County Church Women United, is a holiday event that is offered at no cost to the public.
Included on the tour are Faith Lutheran Church at Brown Pilot Ln. and Trotter, First Church of the Nazarene at 714 E. Stoddard St., First General Baptist Church at 27 E. Castor, First United Methodist Church at 501 S. Walnut St., First Baptist Church at Walnut and Castor and the Presbyterian Church at 201 S. Locust St.

Guests may begin touring at any of the six churches participating. A map to assist with the various church locations will be provided at all locations.
"We invite everyone out to experience the creative expression of this holy season," said Mary Ann Taylor of Church Women United, "in celebrating the nativity of the Christ child."
The tours will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 19 and will conclude at 4:30 p.m.
