Eddie Williams, son of the late Archie A. and Loa Mae Parmenter Williams, was born in Bloomfield on May 4, 1949, and died at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau on Dec. 10, 2009 at the age of 60.
Mr. Williams had lived in Bloomfield all his life. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Dexter and had been a truck driver with QT Trucking and had also worked as a self-employed truck driver.
On Aug. 29, 2003, he was married to Jeneth Lee Wilkerson in Eureka Springs, Ark.
Surviving are his wife, Jeneth Williams, of Bloomfield; one daughter, Lisa Heaton of Bloomfield; one step-daughter, Susan Layton of Sikeston; one step-so, Stephen Wilkerson of Benton; five grandchildren; one brother, Gary Williams of Nashville, Tenn.; four sisters, Ann Ruddich of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; Patsy Sue Layton of Centerville, Nancy June White of Cape Girardeau, and Mary Kay Gillis of Dexter. Other relatives and many friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob and Jim Williams.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Travis Quetermous of Dexter officiating.
Interment will be in the Zion Cemetery near Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.
