Shirley Jean Mace, daughter of the late Vernon and Luella Meunch Huff, was born in Poplar Bluff on Jan. 24, 1948 and died at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield on Jan. 4, 2010 at the age of 61.

She had lived in Puxico and Bloomfield most of her life.

On June 24, 1965 she was married to Albert Lee Mace, Sr. in Bloomfield.

Surviving are her husband, Albert Lee Mace, Sr. of Puxico; one son, Albert Lee "Pete" Mace, Jr. of Puxico; one daughter, Shirley Jean Morgan of Doniphan; two grandsons, Nic Mace of Virginia Beach, Va. and Adrian Mace of Puxico; two granddaughters, Kimberly Morgan and Amber Morgan of Doniphan; one brother, Vernon Huff of Poplar Buff; two sisters, Margaret Laughlin of Poplar Bluff and Trish Schafer of Sikeston. Other relatives and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by one sister, June Huff

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Rev, Jamie Jones of Dexter officiating.

Interment will be in the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico with Watkins \& Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
