Raymond Daniels, son of the late George Daniels and Eva Sherfield Daniels was born on Oct. 5, 1945 at Painton and died in his residence near Dexter on Jan. 5, 2010 at the age of 64.

Mr. Daniels was a former truck driver for FMC Transportation in Willow Springs and a resident of rural Dexter.

He was united in marriage to Jamie Mace on Jan. 10, 1974 at Dexter. Mrs. Daniels survives of the home near Dexter.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Sherrill Ray Daniels of Dexter and Jerry Daniels of Painton; by four daughters, Tammy Franklin of Bloomfield, Candy Moore, Amy Bazarian and Billie Huffman all of Dexter; by one brother, Kenny Pullum of Bloomfield; by one sister, Wanda Williams of Wappapello; by 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Jamie Ray Daniels; by one brother, Arther Pullum; and by one sister, Beatrice Hoard.

Visitation will take place at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 8, 2010. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Ray Rowland officiating. Interment will follow in the South Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Dexter.
