Donna Jo Kyle, age 68, of Ozark, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2010.
She was born Aug. 2, 1941, in Dexter, the daughter of Donald Starr and Emma Mae (Roberts) Starr.
She was united in marriage to Hoyt Kyle on Nov. 28, 1959.
Mrs. Kyle was a Southern Baptist. She enjoyed floral arranging, 50's music, and painting. She loved her family and doted on her grandchildren at every opportunity.
Survivors include: Her husband of 50 years, Hoyt; two sons, Joey Kyle and wife Andi, Ozark, and Keith Kyle and wife Debbie, Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren, Chelsea, Bailey, Keaton, Zachary, and Dylan; one great-grandchild, Logan; her father, Donald Starr and wife Wilma, Nevada; and siblings, Mike Starr and Diane Starr.
She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather.
Memorials may be made to the Christian County Animal Shelter.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, in the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 12 noon on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
Burial will follow in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.
