Jack Willard Vaughn, 41, of Dexter, loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend, was taken from this earth on Dec. 29, 2009, and was laid to rest in his hometown of Hot Springs, Ark. on Jan. 3, 2010.

Jack is survived by his wife, Connie Sheryl Stark-Vaughn; one son, Skylar Vaughn; two daughters, LeShaun Lane and Mollie Bell of the home; two sons, Ashton and Chandler Morgan of Mississippi. He is also survived by his parents, Cliff and Phyliss Vaughn; one sister, Tammy Morris; two nieces, Arianna and Michala Beckwith of Hot Springs, Ark.; father and mother-in-law, Connie and Burness Stark of Bloomfield; Troy Garner, Alex and Damon Brown and Ronnie Nobles; and many family and friends who survive and were loved by Jack.

He was employed by Duckett Truck Centers in Poplar Bluff. He was a member of the Kohfield Scorpions Rugby Club in Cape Girardeau.

A special memorial service will be held in his honor at Calvary Baptist Church, 1302 Pine Street, Dexter, officiated by Pastor Danny Collins on Jan. 16, 2010, at 5 p.m. where his life will be celebrated by all who knew and loved him.
