Steve Hagy, the son of Carrol LeRoy and Jeannette Allen Hagy, was born in St. Louis on Jan. 30, 1961, and died at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter on Jan. 24, 2010, at the age of 48.

Mr. Hagy had lived in the Sullivan area for many years and moved to Dudley one year ago. He was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are two sons, Brad Hagy of Cuba and Earl Bounds of Granite City, Ill.; two daughters, Naomi Wilkins of Arnold and Amanda Hagy of Cuba; his parents, Carrol Hagy of Dexter and Jeannette Allen Hagy of Fisk; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Joe Hagy of Wyoming, Mich.; two sisters, Rose McDowell of Poplar Bluff and Ruth Cole of Dexter. Other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one son, Steven Hagy.

Visitation will take place after 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Memorial funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, at 7 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
