Kennette Ann Meredith, daughter of the late Kenneth Dean Willmore and Donniemay Price Willmore, was born on Aug. 5, 1959, in St. Louis and died on Friday, Jan. 29, 2010 at the at the age of 50.

Kennette was a former truck driver for J. B. Hunt Trucking, had her CDL license, an avid supporter of our U.S. Military, and a resident of Dexter. She had a GED and took a few courses at John A. Logan College.

Survivors include two daughters, Cassandra Lee Meredith of Kennett and Julieanna May Meredith of Dexter; paternal grandmother, Elberta Willmore of Galacia, Ill.; two sisters, Wilma Willmore of Herrin, Ill., and Janice Russel of Broughton, Ill.; one brother, Kenneth Willmore, Jr. of Johnston City, Ill.; six grandchildren, Devon Slayton of Canalou, Aiden Lopez of Dexter, Chaz Autry of Senath, Hailie Fuller, Makayla Carnell, and Cameron Carnell all of Kennett; two nephews, Robert Raudenbushof Broughton, Ill., and Christopher Lopez of Poplar Bluff; three nieces, Rachelle Coleman of Dexter, Kendra Willmore of Johnston City, Ill., and Jennifer Pruitt of Broughton, Ill.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Beaunia Price; paternal and maternal grandfathers, Ceble Willmore and Joseph Davis; sister, LeAnn Pflasterer; and by brother-in-law, Lawrence Pflasterer.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, in the Broughton Community Building in Broughton, Ill., at 1 p.m. with Brother David Angelly officiating.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
