'Cats pin losses on Sikeston, NMCC

Dexter's Cody Stevens is shown (right) as he locks on to his Sikeston opponent then elevates him (below) before throwing him to the mat during wrestling action Tuesday night at the Bearcat Event Center. Stevens was penalized for an illegal throw on this play, but used a late take down to win the match on points, 11-10. Dexter defeated Sikeston, 33-24, and earlier downed New Madrid County Central, 56-24. Dexter improved to 13-3 in duel matches. Look for more on the match in Thursday's editiion of the Daily Statesman.

Great job Cody. Man..that is a LONG 6 minutes. If you are kicking the Sikeston butt you are doing very, very well. You keep SLAMMING those guys...cause they will sure slam you when they can. Take the penalty and keep putting the HURT on them brother.
