Deloris Probst

Deloris Probst, daughter of the late Robert Lee Wilcox and Thelma Lou Grayum Wilcox, was born on Oct. 9, 1938, in Bernie and died at her residence in Potosi on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 at the age of 71.

Mrs. Probst was a former employee with Federal Mogual in Malden, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Cadet, and formerly of Bernie, currently residing in Potosi.

She was first united in marriage to Jerry Dale Kiser, Sr. Mr. Kiser preceded her in death on Sept. 30, 1988. On Dec. 26, 1990, she was then united in marriage to Marshall Leroy Probst in Arkansas. Mr. Probst survives of the home in Potosi.

Besides her husband, Marshall Leroy Probst, other survivors include two sons, Robert Kiser and wife Debbie of Bernie and Jerry Dale Kiser, Jr. and wife Denise of Kingston, Tenn.; one daughter, DeeAnn Hamby of Potosi; seven sisters, Yvonne Lander of Dexter, Jeanette Rice of Bernie, Donna Syvester and husband Richard of Hillsboro, Elaine Wilcox of Highland, Ill., Becky King and husband Danny of Dexter, Debbie Patterson and husband Curt of Risco, and Margie; seven grandchildren, Bobbie Michelle Harvey and husband John of Bernie, David Charles Kiser of Witchta, Kan., DeTrease Money and husband Scott of Kingston, Tenn., and LaSaundra Kiser of Kingston, Tenn., Joshua Robert Cleveland Brown and wife Stacy of Aurora, AnnaStacia Dannielle Leslie DeeAnn Horn, and Schyler MaeLynn Zimmerman, both of Potosi; also by seven great grandchildren, Nathan Harvey, James Money, Jonathan Money, Alexander Christpher Joseph Horn, Davanee Alexis Lavender Horn, Ashley Nichole Kiser, and Rebecka Kiser.

Visitation was held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie from noon until 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, 2010.

Funeral services were then conducted on Monday Feb. 8, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie with Bro. Johnny Wren officiating.

Interment followed in the Bernie Cemetery.
