Timothy Alan Cooksey, son of Elnora Johnson Adams of Bartlett TN, was born April 16, 1959, at Sikeston and died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010, at St. Johns Mercy Hospital in Washington at the age of 50.

Timothy served in the United States Army. He was a land surveyor. He loved music, fishing and being outdoors and his family.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Cooksey of the home in Beafort; his children Jessica and Andrew Cooksey of Lakeland, Fla.; his mother, Elnora Adams of Bartlett, Tenn.; three siblings, Gala Bonner of Cordova, Tenn., Kimberley Wiggins and Julie Maness of Bartlett, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by his step-father Paul Cook; and his brother, Michael Cooksey.

A Memorial Service was held at the Faith Baptist Church in Washington on Feb. 20.

Memorials can be sent to the American Heart Assoc. or Franklin County Humane Society.
