Samuel "Mickey" Brannock

Samuel "Mickey" Brannock, 95, of Evansville, Ind., died on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at St. Mary's Medical Center.

Mickey retired in 1978 as district sales manager for Kelloggs Cereal Company of Battle Creek, Mich. He worked in southern Indiana, southern Illinois and western Kentucky. He was a veteran of Worl War II serving in the South Pacific and attained the rank of staff sergeant. He was a disabled American veteran, member of the American Legion #44, and V.F.W. 1114.

He is survived by his daughter, Marjorie Johnson and husband Tom; grandson, Eric Johnson and wife Deana, all of Evansville, Ind.; and nieces and nephews.

Micky was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Brannock in February 2008.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville, Ind.

Services will be on Wednesday, March 10, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Sister Darlene Boyd officiating.

Entombment will be in Park Lawn Mausoleum where the Retired Veteran's Memorial Club will conduct graveside services.
