Armand Wood, son of Yvonne Farmer Taylor of Wappapello and the late Max Wood was born on Feb. 12, 1963 in Detroit, Mich. and died at his residence in Dexter on March 9, 2010 at the age of 47.

On June 22, 1990 he was united in marriage to Yvonne Mansker in Dexter. Mrs. Wood survives of the home in Dexter.

Besides his mother and wife, other survivors include three sons, Aaron Wood, Brady Allen Wood, and Eric Scott Wood, all of Dexter; by one brother, David T. Wood of Wappapello; three sisters, Melinda Jennings of Wappapello; Cindy Falovo and Laura; also by his grandmother LaVella Gold of Cape Girardeau.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday March 11, 2010 at the First Pentecostal Church in Dexter. Funeral service will then be conducted on Thursday March 11, 2010 at 1 p.m. in the First Pentecostal Church in Dexter with Rev. Joseph Geuin, Rev. Marcus Geuin, and Rev. Robert Bentley. Interment will follow in the Caroline-Dowdy Cemetery in Dexter.
