Floyd Pullum, son of the late Herbert M. and Serena McCoy Pullum, was born in Parma on July 14, 1931, and died at the Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau on March 30, 2010, at the age of 78.
He had lived in Malden for many years. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Bernie.
On May 4, 1957, he was married to Neita Flo Cook in Hernando, Miss.
Surviving are his wife, Neita Flo Pullum of Malden; one daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Butch Barnes of Bernie; one grandchild; and one brother, Leo Pullum of Essex. Other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2010, from 5-8 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 2, 2010, at 10 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Kent Kassinger of Bernie officiating.
Interment will be in the Bernie Cemetery in Bernie.
