Clora May Twitty, daughter of the late Oley and Iva Williams Treece, was born on March 12, 1915, in Morehouse and died on Clora May Twitty, daughter of the late Oley and Iva Williams Treece, was born on March 12, 1915, in Morehouse and died on April 12, 2010, at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter at the age of 95.

Mrs. Twitty was a resident of Dexter, a member of the Christian Church in Warsaw, and an avid fisher. She moved to Kansas City early in her life to work at Bendix Aviation where she retired before moving back to Dexter.

In July 1932 she was united in marriage to Cecil Twitty. Mr. Twitty preceded her in death on April 19, 1997.

She is survived by one son, Dale Austin Twitty of Warsaw; one daughter, Sandra Denbow of Dexter; one sister, Yutteve Crowley of Sikeston; four grandchildren, Carla Marlay and Kirk Burkhead, both of Cameron, Gina Musick of Kansas, and Chad Twitty of Independence; and six great-grandchildren, Leah and Lauren Burkhead, Vincent Franks and Levi Marlay, all of Cameron,i and Jason and Laney Musick of Kansas.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons in infancy, Yancy and Lushan Lee Twitty; and one brother, Lloyd Treece.

Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home on Thursday, April 15, 2010, from 5-7 p.m.

Funeral services will then be conducted at 7 p.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Jim Denbow officiating.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 16, 2010, in the Stover Cemetery at 2 p.m.
