Edith Dunn, daughter of the late Vernon and Gretie Cravens Sielert was born on Sept. 21, 1913 in Acorn Ridge and died on May 17, 2010 in the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter at the age of 96.

Mrs. Dunn was the oldest living member of the First Assembly of God Church in Dexter, and she was a resident of Dexter.

On May 29, 1937 she was united in marriage to Rev. James W. Dunn in Bell City. Mr. Dunn preceded her in death on June 19, 1994.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Dunn of Highlands, Texas and Joe E. Dunn of El Cajon, Calif. and by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one son, James Dunn; by two brothers, Vernon Sielert and Russell Sielert and by two sisters, Evelee Wilson and Vernice Veeth.

isitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 from 5-8 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery with Rev. Mike Kohlbaker and Harry Dunn officiating.
