Carol J. McClain
Carol "Kadie" McClain, daughter of Billie Joe McClain and Barbara Ann Gazley Russell, both of Dexter, was born on Aug. 30, 1971, at Poplar Bluff and died on May 20, 2010, near Dexter at the age of 38.

She was a teller for First Commercial Bank in Dexter and a resident of Dexter.

Kadie is survived by one daughter, Rachel Ann Foster of the home; her father and step-mother, Billie and Brenda McClain of Dexter; her mother, Barbara Russell of Dexter; seven brothers, Billy Jay McClain of Fenton, Mark Steven McClain of Farmington, Jeffrey Allen McClain of Caraway, Ark., Daniel Delaney Slavings of Dexter, Robert Dewayne Slavings of Bernie, Bobby Lynn Slavings of Dexter, and Martin Dale Reetz of Poplar Bluff; four sisters, Barbara Jean Brown of Jefferson City, Deborah JoAnn Ferguson of Fenton, Michelle Suzanne Buck of Dexter, and Melissa Ann McLard of Dexter.

Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2010.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 24, 2010, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Louis Lowe officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
