Bonnie Stinson, daughter of the late Ted Parris and Virginia Nimmo Parris, was born on March 22, 1948 in Essex and died on June 6, 2010, in the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 62.

Mrs. Stinson was a resident of Bloomfield and owner of Stinson Farms.

She was united in marriage to Danny Stinson on May 31, 1964, in St. Louis. Mr. Stinson survives of their home in Bloomfield.

Besides her husband she is survived by three sons, Johnathan Stinson and Christopher Stinson, both of Bloomfield, and Allen Stinson of Dexter; three daughters, Robin and husband Donald McDonald of St. Louis, Stefannie and husband Tom Taylor of Dexter, and Kimberly Stinson of Dexter; five brothers, Ralph Parris of Florida, Dennis Parris of Illinois, Kevin Parris of Oklahoma, Keith Parris of Illinois and Mike Parris of Perryville; four sisters, Faye Lendermen of O'Fallon, Gwen Shock of O'Fallon, Patsy Hughes of Puxico, and Joan Lowe of Malden; by seven grandchildren, Amber Taylor, Kayla Taylor and Megan Taylor, all of Dexter, Christopher McDonald, Ashley McDonald and Jessica McDonald, all of St. Louis, and Genny Stinson of Dexter.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Eddie Parris; and by two sisters, Shirley Turnquist and Rebecca Parris.

Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, from 5-8 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at 10 a.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
