Paula Jean Kester, daughter of the late Roy and Eunice Hunter Kester, was born on May 8, 1961 in Poplar Bluff and died on June 21, 2010 at her residence in Springfield at the age of 49.

Mrs. Kester was an artist; she had attended the Bloomfield First Assembly of God and was currently living in Springfield.

She is survived by one brother, Rick Hickman of Palm Springs, Calif.; two sisters, Tammie Sielert of Dexter and Debbie DeJournett of Wappapello.

Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, June 28, 2010 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.

Funeral services will then be conducted at 12 p.m. on Monday, June 28, 2010, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel.

Interment will follow in the Brown's Chapel Cemetery in Fisk with Rev. Tim Russell officiating.
