Terry Wayne Woods, son of Lucille Dunlap Woods of Jonesboro, Arkansas and the late Lloyd Woods was born on Aug. 9, 1948 at Bono, Ark. and died in his residence at Dexter on June 25, 2010 at the age of 61.

Mr. Woods was an member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter, where he served as Deacon and an active member of the choir. He was the operator of the Saveway Oil Company in Dexter and a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War.

He was united in marriage to Nancy Lou Eaton on June 1, 1968 at Bloomfield. Mrs. Woods survives of the home in Dexter.

Besides his wife and mother, survivors include one son, Theron Woods and wife, Lindsay of Dexter; by two daughters, Tara Mouser and husband, Corey and Cherish Green all of Dexter; by two brothers, Loy Woods of Jonesboro, Ark. and Larry Woods of Alicia, Ark.; by one sister, Shirley Williams of Jonesboro, Ark.; by three grandchildren, Seth Mouser, Emily Mouser and Lucas Woods.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Brown.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., Sunday, June 27, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Monday, June 28, 2010 in the First Baptist Church with Dr. Steve Easterwood officiating. Interment will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield with Full Military Honors.

The family asks that memorials be made to 18 Fore Life and the American Cancer Society Relay For Life.
