Margaret Luella Wilson

Margaret Luella Wilson, daughter of the late Houston Stonecipher and Gladys Vick Stonecipher, was born on Jan. 7, 1929, in Alexander County, Ill., and died in the Crowley Ridge Care Center at Dexter on June 27, 2010 at the age of 81.

Mrs. Wilson was member of the First Baptist Church in Tamms, Ill., a former operator with Illinois Bell and a resident of Dexter.

She was united in marriage to Donald Wilson on June 9, 1947 at Mount Vernon, Ill. Mr. Wilson preceded her in death on Jan. 15, 2001.

She is survived by one grandson, Wayne Fronek of Joliet, Ill.; two sisters, Jessie Sowers of Olive Branch, Ill., and Lillie Braswell of Creal Springs, Ill.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Linda Carol Fronek and Treasa Christine Wilson; two sisters, Mary Agnes Garrison and Henrietta Cook.

Visitation was held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 9-11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2010.

Funeral services were then conducted at 11 a.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Roger Wooten officiating.

Graveside services were conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2010, in the Jonesboro Cemetery at Jonesboro, Ill.
