Mix N. Nolan, son of the late Cale Nolan and Emma Velva Keith Nolan, was born on Sept. 5, 1949 in Buchanan County and died at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau on July 1, 2010 at the age of 60.

Mr. Nolan was a former employee at Emcon Technologies in Dexter, a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korea War, of the Full Gospel faith, and a resident of Bloomfield.

On Sept. 5, 1969 he was united in marriage to Wanda Johnson in Bloomfield. Mrs. Nolan survives of the home in Bloomfield.

Besides his wife, survivors include two daughters, Patricia Stevenson and Sandy Cazee both of Bloomfield; by three sisters, Ada Lightfoot of Sikeston, Marilyn Sherman of St. Joseph; and Carol Nolan of Joplin; also by four grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Nolan and Steve Nolan; two sisters, Bonnie Bowman and Rita Riley.

Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. Monday July 5, 2010. Funeral services will then be conducted on Tuesday July 6, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Dale Holman officiating.

Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield with full military honors.
