Donald Cox, son of the late Ray Henry and Helen Reynolds Cox, was born in Malden on Sept. 16, 1945, and died at his home in Dexter on July 2, 2010, at the age of 64.
Donald served in the US Army and was a member of the Dexter Eagles Lodge
Surviving are one son: Steven Cox of Dexter; one daughter, Carolyn (Cox) Morgan of Fisk; nine grandchildren; three brothers, Melvin McBride of LaCrosse, Wisc., Randy McBride of Rogersville, and Mike McBride of Arizona; and two sisters; JoAnn Ruble and Judy Tretter, both of St. Louis.
Other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by one sister, Debbie Wilson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 7, 2010, after 12 p.m. at Watkins & Sons Funeral Service in Dexter.
Services will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at 2 p.m. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Steve Easterwood of Dexter officiating.
Interment will be in the Bernie Cemetery in Bernie with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
