Floyd Grim
Floyd Grim, son of the late Louis Grim and Effie Brinson Grim was born on February 3, 1925 near Essex and died at Missouri Southern Healthcare at Dexter on July 8, 2010 at the age of 85.

Mr. Grim was a former co-owner of Grim and Morrow Service Station in Dexter, a former foreman with International Shoe Company in Dexter, a warehouseman for the Rural Electric Association in Bloomfield, a veteran of the United States Navy, a member of the Dexter Masonic Lodge #532 and a resident of Dexter.

He was united in marriage to Geneva Underwood on June 18, 1946 at Piggott, Arkansas. Mrs. Grim survives of the home in Dexter.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Sandra K. and Danny Harty of Dexter: by two granddaughters and their spouses, Tammy K. and Chris Harris and Dana and Mike Tellman: by four great-grandchildren, Nicholas Harris, Gerica Harris, Kyle Tellman and Kolten Tellman.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Jinelle and Michelle Mitchell: by four brothers, Fred Grim, Ochel Grim, Cleo Grim and Leo Grim: by three sisters, Ollie Mekan, Grace Darby and Oneita McRoy.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5 until 8 p.m., Saturday, June 10, 2010. A Masonic service will be conducted at 7 p.m., Saturday evening. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 11, 2010 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lonny Mittag officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
