Rosie Gordon
Rosie Gordon, daughter of the late Roy Conner and Hazel Elizabeth Wicks Lane, was born on Dec. 27, 1933 in Dexter and died on July 21, 2010 at her residence in Dexter at the age of 76 years.

Mrs. Gordon was a former employee of Purolator Products Manufacturing in Dexter, a housewife, and a resident of Dexter.

On July 2, 1951 she was united in marriage to Bob Gordon at Piggott, Ark. Mr. Gordon survives of the home in Dexter.

Besides her husband, other survives include two sons, Glen Gordon of Clarkton, Missouri and Danny Gordon of Cameron, N.C.; one daughter, Sharon Brillhart of Dexter; one brother, Charles Conner of Dexter; one sister, Treva Carlisle of Hartford, Mich.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and two special friends, David and Ramona Looney.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, LeRoy Conner, Calvin Conner, Rick Conner, and Nick Conner.

Visitation will take place at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 9 a.m. until aa a.m. Friday July 23, 2010. Funeral service will then be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday July 23, 2010 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter with Rev. David Looney officiating. Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
