Ms. Sarah Hardin, the daughter of Dale and the late Linda Hardin of Parma, and Mr. Jarrett Lawfield announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. Jarrett is the son of Mr. Thomas and Joyce Lawfield of Catron.

Sarah is the granddaughter of Dub and Eloise Conner of Essex and Peggy and the late Hubert Hardin of Parma. She is a 1999 graduate of Bernie High School, graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 2004 and is a 2009 graduate of University of Missouri Columbia where she earned a masters of social work degree. She is currently employed by Preferred Hospice in Dexter.

Lawfield is the grandson of Zelma and the late Harry Gremore of Sikeston and Virgie and the late Thomas Lawfield Sr. of East Prairie. He is a 1993 graduate of New Madrid County Central High School and graduated from University of Missouri Columbia in 1998 where he earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering. He is a self-employed farmer in New Madrid.

The wedding is planned for Dec. 4, 2010 at 3 p.m. at the Hopewell General Baptist Church in Essex. A 7 p.m. reception is planned at the Eagles Lodge in New Madrid.

All family and friends are invited to attend.
