Mary Belle Vance, 103, died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, at her home. She was a high school teacher in Bloomfield for 46 years and a retired Sigma Chi Housemother at Westminister College in Fulton for 22 years.
She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, L.B. Vance.
Survivors include three daughters, Lucy Warner, Georgia Jones and Bobbie Baird (Lynn); her son, Leslie Vance (Milta); eight grandchildren; 21 great- grandchildren; and two great--great-grandchildren.
Her memorial service will be at 1p.m., Sept. 18, 2010, at Centenary United Methodist Church.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook, Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes.
