Leah Mae Robertson, daughter of the late Autie A. and Ora Bailey Almond, was born in Aid on Nov. 8, 1934, and died at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston on Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, at the age of 75.

Mrs. Robertson had lived in Bloomfield most of her life. She was baptized and saved and was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield.

In 1967, she was married to Jim Robertson. He preceded her in death in May of 1991.

Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, James Warren of Fort Worth, Texas, Ronnie and Candy Warren of Puxico, and Keith Robertson of Bloomfield; one sister, Thelma Underwood of Puxico; one brother, Charles Almond of Portland, Ore.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Special thanks to Mike and Becky Almond as care givers over the past several years. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Thurman Almond and Raymond Almond.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct.15, 2010, after 11 a.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, at 12 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Kevin Eskew of Bloomfield officiating.

Interment will be in the Harper Cemetery near Aid with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
