Amanda Rose Gibson and Nicolas Allan Perry, son of Dale and Tayna Perry of Holden, were united in marriage on July 31, 2010, at the home of Amanda's parents on Apple Blossom Lane in Dexter.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and mother, Roy and Kim Gibson of Dexter.

The bride's maid of honor was Elyse Gibson, Amanda's sister. Her attendants were Megan Keathley of Dexter and Allison Lucas of Springfield.

Brandon Dobson of Raytown was the best man with Sean Petrie of Raytown and Jon Stubblefield of Festus serving as groomsmen.

Lacey Bennett performed the Wedding March, Pachelbel's Canon in D, Say Hey (I Love You) and the recessional on the cello. Guestbook attendant and sister of the bridegroom was Carissa McKee of Holden.

The reception was held at Hidden Trails Country Club.

Special guests attending were Amanda's grandparents, Bud and Irene House of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Can., and Norm Gibson of Gravenhurst, Ontario; her brother, Derrick Gibson; and Nic's grandmother, Lola Talley of Peoria, Ill.

The bride is a student at Missouri State University. The bridegroom has a bachelor degree in finance, working on a masters (MBA) and also has a graduate assistantship in the facilities office.

After a wedding trip to Costa Rica, the couple will reside in Springfield.
