Wanda Lee Chamberlain, daughter of the late Louie Taylor and Ether Mae Sircloumb, was born on Feb. 2, 1927, in Matthews and died on Monday, Oct. 25, 2010, at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 83.

Mrs. Chamberlain was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter and was a resident of Dexter.

On Nov. 23, 1948, she was united in marriage to Lee Chamberlain in Piggott, Ark. Mr. Chamberlain preceded her in death on Nov. 11, 2008.

Survivors include three sons, Tim and wife, Maria Chamberlain, of Dexter, Tom and wife, Ann Chamberlain, of Dexter, and Steve Chamberlain of Sikeston; eight grandchildren, Kris Chamberlain, Derrick Chamberlain, Nick Chamberlain, Beau Chamberlain, Shannon Ridings, Ashley Thomas, Taylor Chamberlain and Lexi Chamberlain; and four great-grandchildren, Bailey Chamberlain, Drew Chamberlain, Presley Ridings and Schell Ridings.

Besides her husband and parents, Mrs. Chamberlain was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl Taylor and Everett Taylor; and one sister, Ruth Clark.

Visitation will take place at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, Oct. 29, 2010 from noon until 2 p.m.

Funeral services will follow visitation beginning at 2 p.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Don Kennedy officiating.

Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
