Rev. Donald Lee Harrington of Locust Grove, Ark., died in his home on Oct. 25, 2010, at the age of 74. Born Aug. 17, 1936, to Elmer Harrington and Iona Helms Harrington of Weingarten, he served our country in the United States Air Force and went in service for Christ. He was the Founder of American Indian Ministries.

Preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister, he is survived by his wife of the home Helen "Sweetie" Hartline Harrington and their daughter Donna of Missouri; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; other family members; several nieces; nephews; and a host of friends.

Graveside service will be held at the Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield on Friday, Oct. 29, at 2 p.m. with Pastors Jean Holland and Tommy Tipton officiating.

Visitation will be held at the Watkins Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., with family and friends sharing beginning at 12:30.

Pallbearers will be Dale Hartline, Justin Wallace, Keith Chaplain, Darrell McIntyre, Jim Trammell, Mike Magnum. Honorary Pallbearers are Larry Patterson, Jimmy Hartline, Darrell McIntyre Jr.

Memorials are welcomed and appreciated in the Harrington Family Name at Qualls Funeral Home in Batesville, Ark., as well as Watkins Funeral Home in Dexter.
