Sherian L. Glasener, 67, of Dexter was born Feb. 15, 1943 at Wappapello, the daughter of Joe and Alma Hale Faries and died on Dec. 1, 2010 at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.

Sherian retired from General Motors in St. Louis. She believed in the Baptist faith.

Sherian and Jerry Glasener were united in marriage on Aug. 30, 1958, at Shady Dell Church in McGee, and he preceded her in death on June 24, 1996.

Survivors include three sons; Jerry Lee Glasener, Jr. of St. Louis, Rusty Lee Glasener of Sikeston and Damian Lee Glasener of the home; four sisters, Delores Sharp of Dexter, Brenda (Bob) Carter of Cadet, Peggy (Gary) Simpson of Dexter and Carnell Hunt of Desoto; a brother, Bill (Margaret) Faries of Bell City; two sons, Dusty Glasener and Bradley Glasener; two great-grandchildren, Austin Glasener and Nicole Valdez; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at 1 p.m. at the chapel with Rev. Doyle Mitchell officiating.

Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
