Mary Noble, daughter of the late Connie and Leila Mae Guin Northington, was born in Osceola, Ark., on Oct. 26, 1932, and died at the Golden Living Center in Dexter, Mo. on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, at the age of 78.
Mrs. Noble had moved to Dexter in 1987. She had attended the Dudley Church of God.
On Nov. 2, 1959 , she was married to Jerry Royce Noble in St. Louis, Mo. He preceded her in death in 1987.
Surviving are four sons, Tommie, Connie, and Larry Noble of Dexter, John Noble of Sikeston, Mo.; three daughters, Kathy Dayton of Dexter, Tina Treadway of Springfield, Mo., Faith Johnson of Haggerstown, Md.; 33 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; one sister Dorthy Higginbothem of Dudley, Mo.; two brothers, Earl Northington of Dexter and Gerald Northington of Dudley. Many other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son, Montie Noble.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, in Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Jerry Metcalf of Dudley officiating. Interment will follow in the Dudley Cemetery. Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
