Brandon Laden, son of William Scott Laden and Dana LeChell Arnold Mitchell, was born in Poplar Bluff, Mo., on Aug. 3, 1993, and died at his home in Dexter, Mo., on Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010, at the age of 17.
Mr. Laden had lived in Dexter most of his life. He was a member of The Springs, a Pentecostal Church, in Bethel Springs, Tenn., and the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Dexter. He had worked as a plumber at D & S Plumbing.
Surviving are his father and step-mother, Scott and Angie Laden of Dexter; his mother and step-father, Dana and Jeff Mitchell of Bethel Springs, Tenn.; three brothers, William Scott Laden II and Cody Pullum, both of Dexter, Jeffery Mitchell of Bethel Springs, Tenn.; two sisters, Reanna Laden of Dexter and Elizabeth Mitchell of Bethel Springs, Tenn.; and his maternal grandmother, Arlene Kirby of Dexter. Other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bill Arnold; and his paternal grandparents, Dwight and Jane Laden.
Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, after 10 a.m. at Watkins & Sons Funeral Service in Dexter.
Services will be held Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, at 2 p.m. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Jeff Young of Bethel Springs, Tenn., and the Rev. Jimmy Kirby of Dexter officiating.
Burial will follow in the Laden Family Cemetery near Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
