Lillian Milligan, daughter of the late Otis Milligan and Sarah Gilooly Jackson was born on Nov. 30, 1928 in Lawrance County, Ark. and died on Jan. 4, 2011 in the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter at the age of 82.

Ms. Milligan was retired from Elders Manufacturing where she worked for 47 years, attended the Bernie Church of Christ and was a resident of Dexter.

She is survived by two brothers, J.L. Milligan and Donald Jackson, both of Dexter and by one sister, Beverly Marley of Arkansas.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Bonnie Mickey and Lola Crawford.

Visitation will be at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Jan. 7 at 11 a.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Stan Dauck and Travis Quertermous officiating. Interment will be in the Chalk Bluff cemetery.
