William Edward O'Neal Jr., son of the late William Edward O'Neal and Ruby Grable O'Neal was born on May 11, 1943 in Malden, Missouri and died at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo. on Friday Jan. 14, 2011 at the age of 67.

Mr. O'Neal was the night manager at Town and Country Super Market in Dexter for many years and a resident of Dexter.

Survivors include one daughter, Paula Gremard of Pollard, Ark.; by two brothers, Jerry O'Neal of Dexter and David O'Neal of Oklahoma City; by three sisters, Rhonda Ongaonga of Englewood, Calif., Pamala George of Salt Lake City, Utah, Robin of Ore.; one half-sister, Leona Self of Malden, Mo.; by four grandchildren, Brany Plunk, Jessica Stacey, Nevada Gremard, and Devyn Gremard; by one great-grandchild, Ashlyn Stacey; also by one special friend Marilyn Dodd of Dexter.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, David Dewayne O'Neal, by one sister, Debra O'Neal.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5:00 until 8 p.m. Sunday Jan. 16, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday Jan. 17, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Kenneth Biggs officiating.
