Marilyn Cagle, daughter of Opal Cornelison Edwards and the late Loyd M. Edwards, was born June 27, 1945 in Dexter, Mo. and died on Jan. 27, 2011, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo. at the age of 65.

She had lived in the area most of her life. She attended the First Church of God in Dexter.

On Dec. 26, 1964 she was married to Charles Wayne Cagle in Dexter. She is survived by her husband Charles Wayne Cagle of Bloomfield; her mother, Opal Edwards of Dexter; one son, Steven Cagle of Bloomfield; one daughter, Cheryl (Steve) Christian of Dexter; five grandchildren; one brother, Roger (Sandy) Edwards of Dexter; and two sisters, Ruth Ann Mann (Jerry) of McClure, Ill. and Vickie Corlew (Rod) of Dexter. Other relatives and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by one sister and her father.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011, from 5-7 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Mo.

Funeral services will be on Monday, Jan. 31, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Interment will be in the West Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
